Zach Davis is a Visiting Research Scientist at Facebook Reality Labs. His research involves using computational methods to study how limited agents (i.e. people) are able to grapple with our complex world. These interests have led to projects investigating how people infer the goals of others, control dynamic environments, learn the structure of chaotic systems as they unfold in real time, and make scalable causal judgments. Before joining FRL, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University, supervised by Tobias Gerstenberg. During his PhD, he was supervised by Bob Rehder.
